I will write about how to register on Shopify and some insights for owners and developers. I think it will be easier to understand the meaning of words if you read it first.
What is Shopify?
Shopify is a platform specialized in e-commerce functions.
You can easily register products from the management screen and publish an e-commerce shop online.
Also, the cost is relatively affordable for individuals (around $30 per month, with a fee of about 3% for credit card payment functions).
Compared to BASE and WordPress EC plugins,
○ It is easier to customize the layout than BASE
○ It is simpler and faster than WordPress (fast development and display speed)
I think these are the features.
If you are going to do EC with an engineer, Shopify is good, and if you are going to do EC without an engineer, BASE is probably fine.
One of the characteristics of Shopify is that templates are constantly improving (users can sell designs for Shopify).
Description of Terms
There are two management screens in Shopify.
For owners and partners.
Owner
The person who actually manages EC and sells products.
I think owners and engineers (designers) are probably assumed to be in different organizations (different companies).
Partner
The person who changes the EC design templates.
Designers and engineers can operate the design templates of EC in this management screen (directly change from the management screen or deploy with code).
