Inexperienced in video creation. Started Youtube for the first time about 2 months ago. How many subscribers and views?
Thank you for your continued support.

It has been 2 months since I started Youtube
I think there are various rabbit holes, but I decided to operate a Youtube channel thinking that it would be good to get hooked on the Youtube rabbit hole. I think you have to try things and learn.
It is unrelated to programming, and it is about pursuing hobbies and technical aspects.
I plan to do it for a year. I think it would be good if I could make 100 to 150 videos in a year.
Assumptions
There is almost no traffic from social media.
It's not like the usual pattern where followers subscribe if you tweet on Twitter like the popular influencers do.
I am purely fighting against Youtube's algorithm.
First month
I uploaded my first video in early May.
Since I didn't know how to make videos, it took a lot of time as I was learning.
I posted 3 videos in May.
Naturally, they didn't get any views, and "1 view" was always from myself.
However, the number of impressions (where the thumbnail is displayed somewhere) gradually increased (a few times).
Second month
I tried posting short videos (less than 1 minute) and Youtube Shorts.
When I posted Youtube Shorts, I was able to earn quite a lot of views (around 500).
However, that did not translate to an increase in views for the videos that I actually wanted to be watched.
In June,
I posted 9 elaborated videos,
2 Shorts,
and 1 random video less than 1 minute.
I focused on maintaining consistency in the content of the videos.
I consistently posted videos that would be correctly clustered by Youtube's algorithms.
Suddenly, one video starts to gain views
Views started to increase in mid-June.
It was around 50 views in a day, but it clearly increased.
The reason why it started getting views seems to be that it started to appear in the related videos section on the right side when other channels' videos are being watched.
I'm not sure what triggered it, but it happened around the time I made about 5 videos
One video starts to gradually gain traction
One video exceeded 1000 views.
This is a significant progress for a channel that had almost 0 views for a month.
What I learned from this video is that when you receive a "like," the impressions of that video increase.
It seems like Youtube recommends the video to other users by saying, "This video seems good."
So, I think it's important to support the channel by sending likes.
About dislikes
On the contrary, when you receive dislikes (I received one), it doesn't grow at all. It's surprising.
For a small channel in the early stages, dislikes seem to have a significant negative impact.
There must be a reason for receiving dislikes on a video, so I deleted it to avoid becoming a bottleneck.
Titles and descriptions
In popular Youtube channels, there may be cases where the descriptions are inadequate or copied and pasted.
Since this is a small channel, I think it's not good to be careless, so I use the "otter keyword" suggestions and aim for keywords that are searched with "proper noun" + 1 word.
Thumbnails
I use cropped images of dynamic parts with a headline of 10 characters or less in size.
In terms of click-through rate, it's around 7-8% on average.
Since this number varies significantly depending on where it is displayed, I consider anything beyond 5% as an error, so I'm considering changing the thumbnails if it's low.
Channel Subscribers
It was 17.
Since there were no subscribers at all for about a month and a half, the fact that subscribers increased in the last two weeks gives me a lot of hope.
By the way, the views were 2500. The viewing time was about 50 hours.
I think the pace is about 1 subscriber for every 150 views, so I think it's important to skillfully consolidate the content into something that can receive "empathy" or "usefulness" and receive high ratings.
By the way, I feel like I can increase views by 100 for each high rating (just a hunch).
Summary
I would like to continue monitoring the situation.
I plan to write about July's content towards the end of July. That's all for now.
